Our special investigations unit is among the best staffed and most capable in North America. All the members of the team have a solid background of law enforcement work behind them. Their strong investigative skills are paired with a full and complete knowledge of the ethics and legalities of private sector information gathering.
Garda provides the following background legal information;
-National criminal record (CPIC). Following amendments to the law regarding the CPIC, only the result stating whether a candidate may or may not have a record can be released, no details of convictions/dispositions can be included in this background check. Furthermore, Pardoned Sex Offender (PSO) searches can no longer be conducted.
