HISTORY
1995 Garda is founded by President & CEO Stephan Cretier with an initial investment of only $25,000 under the name Trans-Quebec Security Inc.
1999 the Company changed its name to Garda World Security Corporation with the acquisition of Garda Security Group. It became publicly traded on the Alberta Stock Exchange
2003 Garda became publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (GW)
2006 Garda entered the North American market in the physical security, cash logistics and investigation sectors
2007 Garda entered the international scene with operations in emerging markets worldwide with its Global Risk Consulting Group
